[Principle of mechanical sand blasting]
The abrasive is recovered by mechanized power. The abrasive falls from the terrace of the gridding to the sand collecting bucket, and is then concentrated to the belt conveyor, then recovered through the bucket elevator, the curtain type shot-dust separator and other machineries, and finally sent to the shot storage box for future use. The abrasive is recycled, with high processing efficiency.
[Introduction to mechanical sand blasting]
We use the structure comprising the belt conveyor, the screw conveyor and the bucket elevator.
A set of Torit Down Flow Dust collector prevailing overseas is used for two-stage dust collecting, with total dust collecting efficiency up to 99.99%. The dust collecting system uses the approach of side air draft, with the labyrinth-like natural air inlet at the top, and with the booth keeping appropriate negative pressure, so that the environment around the shot blast booth is improved and the gas emissions are hugely lower than the emission standard (≤120mg/m3).
The exterior of the booth is made of 75mm thick colored steel sandwich board. Compared with the conventional sand blast booth made of pure steel plate, this booth body has the following characteristics: beautiful appearance, easy installation, corrosion resistance, high durability, thermal insulation, and noise reduction. The core of the color steel is rock wool, which is fire proof.
The shot blast system uses the fixed pneumatic remote-control twin-gun automatic sand blaster. The operator may remote-control the sand blast switch pneumatically. The operator may protect himself by using the breathing filter and protective mask in sand blasting.
The lighting of the shot blast booth is mainly on the top, with accessory lights on the both sides. High pressure mercury lamps are used for lighting purpose. The transparent glass is framed with metal frame for easy replacement of glass.
The electrical control cabinet is used to achieve PLC automatic and manual control, sequential control and interlock control of the shot blast booth system, including the dust collecting fan, lighting, screw conveyor, bucket elevator, and curtain type shot-dust separator, etc.
